MORE
Nutrition
Nutrition and mental health are closely intertwined. The food we consume provides the raw materials needed for the production of neurotransmitters, the chemicals that regulate mood, cognition, and behavior in the brain.
Therefore nutrition plays a vital role in mental health by providing the necessary nutrients for neurotransmitter synthesis, regulating inflammation, supporting gut health, and stabilizing blood sugar levels.
A balanced diet rich in whole foods, including fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, healthy fats, and complex carbohydrates, is essential for promoting optimal mental well-being.
